Creating Hope through Community-Led Education
Community-Based Education Program
NAIR established a community-based school inside the Rohingya refugee camps in Cox’s Bazar to address the lack of proper education opportunities for Rohingya children. The school follows the Myanmar curriculum to help children continue learning in their native language and educational system.
Project Highlights:
• Established in 2019
• 13 volunteer teachers engaged
• Over 546 students enrolled from kindergarten to matriculation level
• Distribution of textbooks and learning materials
• Community-based learning support for vulnerable children
The project continues to support children who otherwise have very limited access to quality education within the camps.
Human Trafficking Prevention Project
NAIR implemented awareness activities focused on preventing human trafficking among vulnerable Rohingya refugees living in Camp-15 and Camp-16. The project aimed to educate youth, parents, and community members about trafficking risks, false job promises, online exploitation, and protection mechanisms.
