Maung Saw Win, widely known as Hubaib, is a Rohingya refugee and human rights defender from Rakhine State, Myanmar. Since 2017, he has lived in the world’s largest refugee camp in Cox’s Bazar, Bangladesh, after fleeing persecution. Denied access to higher education due to his statelessness, he dedicated himself to serving his community by working with several international organizations.
Through NAIR and his advocacy, Hubaib works to highlight the struggles of stateless people while promoting dignity, resilience, and hope for the Rohingya community.
